The company has a staff of over 60 and generates a Group turnover of S$15.5 million. It has expanded into Indonesia and China through ventures, Philippines through a product distribution franchise, and Malaysia via a licencing agreement.

The company's motto is "Nothing ventured, nothing gained", and that is inculcated in the staff and it forms the very fundamentals of the company's growth and success. For more than 20 years, Acez has been profitable with a compounded growth rate of more than 20 percent every year.

Ricky Yeo, the company's CEO, shared a few secrets to his success. One is to lead by example. "As the leader of the company, I personally and professionally practice what I preach. As a responsible entrepreneur, I recognise that the brand is a valuable asset of a company and the best brand ambassadors are my people. "For instance, the company advocates corporate social responsibility by organizing several charity events, and participating in other fundraising events organised by its business partners, such as EdWhistler Charity Run, EdWhistler Power Soccer 2010 in aid of Muscular Dystrophy Association of Singapore, providing monthly contribution to Buddhist Free Clinic, and adopting one child in Vietnam and Mongolia under World Vision.

Yeo also believes in taking care of his customers. "I believe and perpetuate the mantra: 'Take care of your customers well... if not, someone else will'. This constant reinforcement has led to an exponential increase in our customer base and culminated to the relocation to a bigger office in Pioneer Road North, close to the industrial heart of Singapore."

Asked what is his short-and long-term goal are? Yeo said it is to achieve the forecasted sales turnover for financial year 2011 of S$20 million, and by 2020, a sales turnover of S$50 million.
